PHD Design is a design and client focused RIBA Chartered Architects Practice founded by Paul Domville in 1994. Prior to starting my own practice, I worked in various practices within the North West and now have over 40 years of practical experience within the construction industry on both large and small projects.
In 2018 we also formed PHD Architects Ltd to carry out primarily commercial work, offices, factories, etc, which has become very successful and keeps this separate from the residential schemes.

We use the very latest three dimensional computer technology to help visualise design ideas through from fly-throughs to virtual reality views and movies including 3D layout plans to fully explain the design ideas.
We approach each project with rigour to provide our clients with innovative and practical design solutions to provide the optimum design outcome for their long-term wellbeing and happiness; from the smallest detail to the largest form.
Our standard full service guides you right through from inception to alternative scheme designs to planning permission to building regulations and tender package to onsite contract procurement through to completion. We also have a trusted network of local builders who we have developed a solid working relationship with over the years, so we can also deal with the tender process for you.
