BELLE VUE, MANCHESTER 

A new development scheme on a busy corner site at the junction of Hyde Road and Mount Road, this scheme includes for 56no. 1, 2 & 3 bed apartments within an ‘L’ shaped block together with 20no. 3-bed dwellings. 

The main apartment building is over 6 floors although the planners are keen to step the building down to a maximum of 3 stories to reduce the overall massing of the building. A total of 46no. permanent car parking spaces was achievable. To overcome the requirement to provide amenity space, part of the roof to the west of the site was given over to a roof garden. 

New access to the site was proposed along the lane running parallel with the Metro line. 

The scheme is still awaiting final amendments and submission for Planning Approval.
